LASH LIFT PROCESS

Determine whether or not you require a patch test (do you have any allergies or sensitivities? read the contraindications listed below). Patch tests require 24 hours clearance.
Arrive to your appointment with clean dry lashes, free from false lashes / mascara / eye make-up. Using waterproof mascara or oil based products prior to your appointment can affect the lift result as the absorption of oil will create a barrier preventing the lift solutions from penetrating into the lash hairs.
First time clients will complete a consent form online
You will lay down and eyes will remain closed for the entire duration of the lash lift process (approx 90 minutes)
Lashes are prepped with cleanser
Lashes are adhered temporarily to a curved shield using gentle glue
Various solutions are applied and removed with differing timings
Tint will be applied to change the colour of the lashes (optional)
Lashes are cleaned, brushed and locked into place
You will leave with lifted and curled gorgeous lashes which will be untouched for 24 hours post treatment. Thereafter you can continue with your regular routine.

Arrive with no eye make-up or lash extensions
Stop using waterproof mascara a few days prior
Do not use any lash growth serums on the day of appointment
Use oil free remover for make up removal
No contact lenses, please bring glasses
You may wish to wash and dry your hair as you cannot wet your lashes for 24 hours
Bring an umbrella or cap if it is raining/snowing

Do not wet your lashes
No eye make-up
Avoid rubbing your eyes
Sleep on your back to avoid any kinks
Clean facial make up with wipes, damp cloth or micellar water, avoid the eye area entirely.
No tears please

Rock your natural curl!
You can use mascara if you wish although it is recommended you avoid waterproof
Bioderma Sensibio micellar water is a good oil free choice to remove make up around the eyes
Be gentle
Brush your lashes upwards daily using the spoolie
If you purchased aftercare mascara you can use this every day on clean, dry lashes. You may use black mascara on top of this clear mascara.

Brows are cleaned, brushed and locked into place
You will leave with beautifully groomed brows which will be untouched for 24 hours post treatment. Thereafter you can continue with your regular routine.
Keep your brows dry for 24 hours.
After 24 hours you may wash your brows and whenever needed you can brush the hairs into your desired shape using a spoolie brush.

Severe dry eye syndrome requiring drops
Trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder)
Alopecia
Undergoing chemotherapy (wait 6 months post treatment)
Recently undergone eye surgery (1 year clearance and note from doctor)
Any eye disease including stye and conjunctivitis
Suffer from epilepsy
Allergies to dye or lash extension glue - you must request a patch test
Please note you must be 18 years of age or older to have a lash lift/tint (16/17 year old's require parent consent). We do not offer this service to those who are pregnant or breastfeeding (this is because the products have not been tested in this situation and hormones could affect the outcome, possibility of not lifting).

Current use of prescription medication such as Accutane.
Retinol/AHA/BHA etc (must not use for approx 5 days prior)
Undergoing chemotherapy (wait 6 months post treatment)
Recent microblading (must be healed over 8 weeks)
Psoriasis/severe eczema
Sunburn
Extremely sensitive skin
Please note you must be 18 years of age or older to have brow lamination (16/17 year old's require parent consent). We do not offer this service to those who are pregnant (this is because the products have not been tested in this situation).
